How to Play Canfield
Description
A harder cousin of Klondike with a reserve pile that gives you one card at a time and four tableau columns to work with. Fast, focused, and unforgiving if you misread the order.

Objective
Move all 52 cards onto four foundation piles, sorted by suit, in ascending order from a base rank set at the start of each game.
Setup
Deal thirteen cards face down as a reserve, with only the top card face up.
Deal four more cards face up beside it to start the tableau.
Deal one more card to start the foundations — its rank becomes the starting point for all four foundation piles, and the other three cards of that same rank join it there as they turn up.
The rest forms the stock.
Rules
Foundations build upward in suit, wrapping from King back to Ace if needed, until each pile holds all thirteen of its suit.
The tableau builds downward, alternating red and black — you can move single cards or whole matched sequences.
Whenever a tableau column empties, immediately fill it with the top card of the reserve.
Draw from the stock to the waste pile when you're stuck; only the top waste card is playable.
Winning
Genuinely difficult — win rates are famously low, often cited around 5–7%.
You win once all four foundations are complete.
