How to Play Cheat
Description
Everyone is lying. You're just trying to catch someone else before they catch you. Play cards face down, name whatever rank you like, and hope nobody calls it.
Also known as: BS; I Doubt It
Objective
Be first to empty your hand — by playing honestly or by bluffing and getting away with it.
Setup
Full deck dealt out evenly among all players.
Rules
Play one to four cards face-down, declaring a number that must be exactly one higher or lower than the last claim.
Aces and Kings connect to each other.
You don't have to tell the truth about what you played.
Anyone can call your bluff.
If nobody challenges, your claim stands and the next player declares the next number in sequence.
A challenge resets the sequence — whoever wins it (the challenger, if the claim was a lie, or the claimant, if it was true) starts fresh with a new declared number.
Winning
Called correctly, and you lied? You take the whole pile.
Called incorrectly, and you told the truth? The challenger takes it instead.
First to empty their hand and survive being challenged wins.
The table can then vote to keep playing for second place and beyond.
