How to Play Higher or Lower
Description
The dealer peeks at the next card and picks the question that gives you the worst odds. Higher or lower? Red or black? One of you is taking a forfeit.

Objective
Answer the dealer's question correctly and send the forfeit back across the table. The dealer already knows the answer — that's the point.
Setup
A standard deck and one dealer. Turn one card face up to start.
Agree as a table what a forfeit means before you start.
Rules
The dealer looks privately at the next card in the deck.
Knowing what's coming, the dealer chooses which question to ask: higher or lower, or red or black. Expect the harder one.
The player answers, and the card is revealed. If the hidden and visible cards share the same rank, that counts as a loss for the player unless the table agrees otherwise.
Winning
A correct answer means the dealer takes the forfeit. A wrong answer means the player does.
The revealed card becomes the new visible card, and play passes on. If two revealed cards in a row share the same rank, the current dealer's turn ends and a new dealer takes over.
There is no winner — the round ends when the table decides it has.
