How to Play Kout Bo
Description
A Gulf partnership trick-taker played fast — the cards move quickly and the table expects you to keep up.
Objective
Take tricks with your partner at pace, under a named trump.
Setup
A standard deck, four players in two fixed partnerships seated opposite each other.
Rules
Cards are dealt and a trump suit is established for the hand.
Follow suit if you can; if not, you may trump or discard.
The highest trump takes the trick, or the highest card of the suit led. The winner leads the next trick.
Winning
Partnerships score for the tricks they take together across the hand.
Play continues to an agreed target.
