How to Play Mafia
Description
A game of hidden identities and shifting alliances. The Mafia know each other — the Townspeople know nothing. Both sides vote to eliminate the other, but only one side is lying.

Objective
Townspeople: identify and eliminate every Mafia member. Mafia: survive until your numbers equal the Townspeople's.
Setup
One player acts as sound host for the session. The app deals roles invisibly — roughly one Mafia member for every three Townspeople.
Each player checks their role privately on their own screen.
Rules
The game alternates between night and day. At night, all players close their eyes while Mafia members silently coordinate a kill through the app.
At dawn, the eliminated player's role is revealed and they become a silent observer.
During the day, surviving players discuss openly with no time limit, then vote to eliminate someone. Votes are submitted privately; the result is revealed publicly.
A tie triggers a second vote between only the tied players. If that also ties, no elimination happens and night begins again.
Winning
Townspeople win by eliminating every Mafia member.
Mafia win the moment their numbers reach parity with the surviving Townspeople.
