How to Play Ronda
Description
Match a card, take it, and take the run above it too. A Spanish capturing game where one good card can clear the table.
Objective
Capture cards from the table by matching ranks, and sweep it clean when you can.
Setup
A Spanish 40-card deck. Deal cards to each player and lay four face up on the table.
Rules
On your turn, play a card matching the rank of a face-up table card to capture it.
Capturing a card also lets you take the next card up in sequence if it is on the table, chaining upward.
If you cannot match anything, your card stays face up on the table.
Winning
Clearing every card from the table in one capture is a ronda and scores a bonus.
When all cards are played, score for the cards captured, with extra for taking the most and for specific high cards.
