How to Play Rouba Monte
Description
Match the top card of someone's pile and the whole pile is yours. Nothing you win is safe.
Objective
Finish holding the largest pile of captured cards — including the ones you steal back off other players.
Setup
A standard deck. Deal three cards to each player and four face up to the table.
The rest forms the stock, dealt out three at a time as hands run empty.
Rules
On your turn, play a card matching the rank of a face-up card on the table to capture it. Both cards go face up on your own pile.
You can also play a card matching the top card of another player's pile — that steals their entire pile, and it becomes yours.
If you cannot match anything, place a card face up on the table and the turn passes.
Winning
When the stock and all hands are exhausted, whoever holds the most cards wins.
Any cards left on the table go to the player who made the last capture.
