How to Play Spider Solitaire
Description
A two-deck solitaire where completed same-suit sequences vanish from the tableau. One suit is forgiving. Four suits will test your patience seriously.
Objective
Build eight complete runs — King down to Ace, all the same suit — and clear them off the board.
Setup
Two decks (104 cards). Deal ten tableau columns — six cards in the first four columns, five in the rest — with only the top card of each face up.
The remaining cards form the stock.
Rules
Build columns downward, regardless of suit, but a matched-suit sequence at the bottom of a column can be picked up and moved together as one block.
Move the top card, or a same-suit sequence, onto a card one rank higher, or into an empty column.
When you're stuck, deal another card face up onto every column from the stock — but every column must have at least one card first.
Winning
Whenever you complete a full King-to-Ace run in one suit, it's removed from the board.
Clear all eight runs to win.
Genuinely tough — the two-suit and four-suit versions are considerably harder than the one-suit beginner form.
