How to Play Spit
Description
No turns, no waiting — both players go at once. Slap cards onto the central piles in sequence and race to empty your stock before your opponent empties theirs.

Objective
Be the player who still has enough cards to keep playing when your opponent runs out.
Setup
Two players, 26 cards each.
Five face-down tableau piles per player — one card in the first, rising to five in the fifth (fifteen cards total), each with its top card turned face-up.
An 11-card personal stock.
Two shared center piles between you.
Rules
There's no turn order — both players play at the same time, as fast as they can.
Play a face-up tableau card onto either center pile if it's one number higher or lower — Aces and Kings connect.
When a tableau card is played, the pile beneath it turns face-up, ready to play next.
Clear a single tableau pile entirely, and you can move a face-up card from another pile into that empty slot.
Clear all five of your tableau piles, and you can take one of the center piles into your personal stock — then your tableau is redealt from that stock.
If neither player can move but you both still have tableau cards left, both flip another card from your stock onto the centre piles and the same round continues.
Winning
Clearing your tableau entirely and slapping a centre pile ends the round outright — both players then rebuild a fresh tableau from their stock to start the next one.
Your win condition is your total card count: your personal stock plus whatever you're holding. If that combined total ever drops below 16 cards when you'd otherwise redeal, you win the match outright.
