How to Play Three-Card Brag
Description
Three cards, a betting pool, and the nerve to stay in without ever looking at your hand.
Objective
Have the best three-card hand at the table, or convince everyone else to fold before it comes to a showdown.
Setup
Every player antes into the pot, then gets three cards face down.
Rules
Going in turn, each player either bets or folds — betting always means matching or raising what's already in the pot, since (unlike most poker) your own earlier contributions don't count toward what you owe.
You can also play "blind," betting without looking at your own cards — a blind bet only costs half what a normal bet would.
Betting continues around the table until only two players remain.
Winning
Once it's down to two, either player can double the bet to force a showdown — both hands are revealed, and the better hand takes the entire pot.
A tie goes to whoever didn't call for the showdown.
